Two pounds

I know it’s not a lot, but losing two pounds encouraged me.  I’m still battling some joint pain so I haven’t started exercising yet so I was overjoyed!  Hopefully I can start working out soon…

Tip i got from the web: Try using a kid’s size plate when eating meals and make sure your veggies are the biggest portion of food versus everything else. You can also get the plates that have the dividers in them for children and portion your food that way…

A work in progress

I’m down a couple ounces from Tuesday….199.6. Whoa buddy lol, but hey, it’s progress. I am committed to getting this weight off and keeping it off for good this time, so tired of yo-yo-ing. I have the support of my husband who also is trying to lose weight, so together with him and my sisters there is no excuse for failure. I will conquer my weight issues.. There is a beautiful, confident woman somewhere in this body and its time I found her.

A New Day

So today I officially start counting calories and scaling back. This is going to be quite a challenge for me, but I need a change so bad right now its not funny. I don’t want to step on the scale again because I know it hasn’t changed much over the past few days but my goal is to commit to working out 5 days a week. I am going to either follow my hip hop abs DVD”s or follow the exercises on YouTube that I have in the past. I have always been one that if I don’t sweat it doesn’t work. I have to feel like I put in work. My goal by February is to weigh 10 lbs less than I did when I started January 1st….I hope I can get there….

Yesterday…

Hello my beautiful besties!  Just wanted to let you guys know what I had yesterday because I was proud lol.  For breakfast, I had a smoothie with spinach, blueberries, strawberries, pineapples, flax seed, wheat germ and soy milk.  It was good!  For lunch, I wasn’t that hungry so I had some broccoli and cauliflower with some ranch (can’t do the raw with nothing just yet, I’m working on that LOL), and for dinner I had a spinach salad with cucumbers, parmesean (sp?) and Olive Garden dressing (they have it at Sams!).  I didn’t finish the full pitcher of detox water though.  Hope you beauties had a great first day to the new us!!!!!!
